These are the months when the town is bustling with visitors, and in which hotel prices also rise. However, due to the fact that it is not the peak of the tourist season in Portugal as a country, the flight prices are actually cheaper compared to the summer months. This creates a sort of balance, and if you manage to book the hotel long enough in advance, then you might be able to close the vacation for a reasonable amount.

Both in the winter months and in the summer months, the weather makes vacationing in Óbidos difficult, either due to the rain or due to the sun. In the winter months, the town is relatively empty, and your chances of finding profitable deals on flights and hotels increase significantly.
