You will find a wide variety of high-class hotels, all of which will allow you to experience the chic atmosphere of the beach of this exotic resort town. It probably won't be easy to find guesthouses or particularly cheap accommodation solutions here, and the yachts moored in the marina hint at that. However, you can definitely find a range of prices here, not only that, even if you don't want to break the bank. Keep in mind that this is the area where most tourists are concentrated, which both raises prices and creates a lively atmosphere in this part of the city on a regular basis.

Another area where you can find quite a few accommodation and hospitality is that of the old city. It is further along the coastline, and is famous for its race track, casino and abundance of pubs. This is not the place for you if you are looking to discover the cultural side of Qashqai, but if you also came to hang out and feel the abundant internationality here, this is the neighborhood for you.

When is it recommended to go to Qashqai?

Qashqai is a resort town, and as such the peak of its tourism season comes in the summer months and during the Christian holidays, when the Portuguese are free from school. In July and August the town is full to capacity, both with local vacationers and tourists from all over the world. The prices of hotels in this season are increasing, as well as the prices of attractions and other tourist services. This does not mean that you will not be able to enjoy Kashkaish in the summer, but probably if you have the time and the opportunity, it is better to come at a different time.

The ideal seasons to visit Qashqai are autumn and spring. During these months the weather is perfect for a walk on the beach and a dip in the water, the breeze on the marina goes well with a glass of quality beer and the relatively low number of tourists allows you to hear each other without shouting. The decrease in the tourist load also allows the accommodation owners to lower prices, so that you can get a good hotel for the price of a less good hotel in the summer months.

Getting to Cascais in winter can be challenging at times, as the Portuguese winter is rainy and cold. Chances are you won't be able to enter the water, and even a stay or a trip to the marina or the beach will require appropriate clothing. However, Qashqai in winter is almost empty of tourists, so it will be all yours. You can enjoy its variety of indoor tourist sites, and the winter sunsets and sunrises are unusually romantic. During this period, you will have no difficulty finding free accommodation at attractive prices, at the same time, you will have to take into account the weather conditions, which are not always good for vacations or trips. Therefore, if you chose to come to Qashqai in the summer, be sure to reserve accommodation and also purchase relevant flight tickets in advance. And better as early as possible.
